A Modern Mix

These clients had a longing to bring a more modern sophistication to their traditional Northern Virginia house.  We melded the two styles perfectly to make a striking, yet comfortable, living space for this young, active family.

All About the View

The stunning view across Tampa Bay greats you as you walk into the doors of this condo.  Our job was to frame it with the perfect furnishings.  We used a palette of pastel blues and purples to marry the interior with the ocean and sky beyond.  Then we added pops of pink and green with patterns from nature to help the space feel more grounded.

Black and White Is Always Right!

Classic architecture and great mouldings give this Living Room a head start in the game.  A great mix of old and new with modern and traditional make this room Modern Traditional!  Bold Draperies done in Black Moire paired with acrylic rods set the tone.

White Sunbrella sofas make this room party-friendly. The right mix of traditional and modern pieces combined with antiques and vintage finds provide a fresh timeless curated look.

High-end Luxury Condominium Transformation

We began this project at pre-build stage with our clients, and managed it from beginning to end. This is Luxury Condo living on a golf course, our client loved all shades of blues and we incorporated them throughout the home. One of my favorite comments at the reveal from the wife was “ I feel like Barbie and this is my DREAMHOUSE!”

The New Family Home

Where life meets style.  We used a modern mix and match approach to decorating to give this home a crisp, fresh look.  The bold color story pops off the neutral palette in every room of this updated home.

Using Pieces Our Client Already Owned To Create A New Look

A modern classic, I like to create timeless interiors that can be refreshed but with classic elements will last - things that can be appreciated decade after decade. The beauty is in the details, we were able to mix in many of the client's existing pieces. It's all about layering in the things you love and creating a home that is unique to you and your family.

Color Confidence

This classic Virginian colonial home got a modern update.  I don’t like a trendy design although it is essential to keep up with the changing styles and this renovation does just that. We added dark stained floors and crisp white trim to highlight the homes already classic architecture.

Traditional With A Twist

This home went from ordinary to extraordinary.  A neutral base with punches of pinks and greens set a tone of vibrancy throughout this home.  We listened to our clients dreams for a romantic master suite and created a space that they enjoy retiring to each night.

Modern Farmhouse Home

Casual Elegance may be somewhat a contradiction in terms, but it aptly describes the look of the this welcoming entryway.  With a rustic stone wall mixed with wood wainscot paneling painted a crisp white, we added an embroidered fabric in Beacon Hills Water Diamond in gray to the walls as fabric wallcovering. Bold elements garner immediate interest, while the whimsical touches, understated details and rich textures encourage closer inspection.  A jaunty peacock painting provides design inspiration and is sure to bring a smile as you pass by.
